For years, my wife and I have talked about what our home lacked in living space. At times, we laughed about remodeling, after raising two children and many dogs in our 1970 Florida ranch house of 1700 square feet. I must admit, I was not at all anxious for change. This was our home for 38 years. At our first meetings with you, we were told we could probably have a new house for what it would cost to accomplish what we were asking for. You will remember we responded, “We have memories in this home.”
From that point on, we feel we developed a special working relationship with you at Orange Blossom Developers. The purpose of this letter is to thank you for what you accomplished. From the meetings to discuss the very major reconfiguration of our home to the daily contacts during construction, you were courteous, efficient and committed. Of no less importance, your choice of subcontractors was indicative of your professionalism as a builder. They all were on time, a pleasure to deal with, and always took the time to make sure we were satisfied.
Our new home is perfectly beautiful and also user friendly. From our new custom kitchen to my “dog den”, your efforts exceeded our expectations. We now have a home that is what we have dreamed about, and also looks like it belongs on our waterfront property in our neighborhood. It does not look “added on to”, but as if it was originally built as it is now. This home has the true native Florida home look, which we wanted. And Todd, as important as your job was to us, the help Brooke was to Sandra on the many selections of items, i.e. light fixtures, flooring, paint colors, etc., was absolutely outstanding. She is an intricate part of the success of this undertaking.
In closing, Sandra and I want to thank you all at Orange Blossom. I am writing to express our gratitude and thanks for the superb job on the construction of our house at 302 Morningside Drive. We had always heard building a house was the “most frustrating and aggravating thing you could do”. That couldn’t be further than the truth. It was truly a pleasure to work with you and ALL of your subcontractors. The construction on our custom waterfront house was the highest quality we could ask for. Your team was always available for questions and assistance. Todd Spenlau was so helpful and accessible throughout the entire building and final inspection process. His subcontractors respect him and were very focused on the quality of their work. I believe the one-on-one attitude of Orange Blossom as well as the integrity all the entire team are the things that make them so unique in the home-building business.

Building a custom home from the design stage through completion is not an easy task. Dear Todd and Crew,
Just a quick note to thank Orange Blossom for making our major remodel as painless as possible and for having the end result turn out so nicely. To make a long story short we had found a nice sized house on a big lot that was in an area we wanted to live. Unfortunately the house was an abandoned foreclosure that was structurally sound but cosmetically a basket case on the inside. Orange Blossom came in, revised some load bearing walls to open up the view to the backyard, replaced a questionable wood addition with a solid block structure and brought the rest of the house up to snuff both structurally and visually. We now have a beautiful house loaded with cherry cabinets, stacked stone fireplaces, granite countertops and a suitable master bathroom with a large marble shower (my favorite part!). I would strongly recommend Orange Blossom to someone who is looking for a firm that can deliver quality work, has a stable of skilled subcontractors, and a GC who takes the time to listen to what the homeowner wants.
